This national network of community organizations works to improve urban neighborhoods and business districts through local action that engages many constituiences that work in related areas. SBMC has been retained to improve their annual development plan by identifying new foundatoin prospects and submitting requests on their behalf.
Center for Learning Differences, Inc.
The Center is dedicated to providing information and creating connections for families and professionals who deal with children who learn differently. SBMC crafted a fund-raising plan that highlights its distinct constituencies.

Bread and Roses Cultural Project, Inc. (Part of 1199 Hospital Workers’ Union)
With guidance from SBMC, this accounting/financial services company was able to identify new clients, and refine and better tailor the collateral used to keep current clients and identify new prospects.

After serving as its first Director of Development during which time Mr. Siege raised several hundred thousand dollars of new funding, he went on to serve as a consultant for two highly successful fundraising dinners

SBMC developed a basic proposal for the Council and led a class in fundraising for local arts groups

SBMC worked with the staff and Board to develop a mission statement and an annual plan, followed by prospect research and the creation of several program-based proposals

This national advocacy and service organization for the many storytelling communities throughout the U.S. is working with SBNC to develop corporate sponsorships to aid its program to provide grants for emerging and established storytellers

SBMC helped the company complete an annual request to the National Endowment for the Arts

SBMC advised the company on obtaining corporate support and drafted letters/proposals on behalf of the company

For this African-American performing arts organization, SBMC developed a promotional package to build its first special event gala.
